2010 Harp Walk & Run

Mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Wendell D. Harp Memorial 3 mile Walk & Run to be held on Saturday Sept. 11. The day begins with registration at 8:30 am at Ulster County BOCES on Route 32 in New Paltz. The race starts at 9:30 am and is open to adults and children ages 8 and older. The course begins on Kingston Road and proceeds onto the Rail Trail, returning to Kingston Road and back to Ulster BOCES. Awards are given to best male and female overall, and for 1st & 2nd place runners in each division. For the past 8 years Hospice Foundation, Inc. has collaborated with the families of Wendell Harp, former chairman of the board of Hospice, Inc., to present a memorial race in his honor. The event has become one of the major fundraising events for the agency, as well as an exciting “happening” in the New Paltz community. All proceeds will benefit Hospice Foundation, Inc.
